The Cardiology Department is led by Academician Ge Junbo, a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chairman of the Chinese Cardiovascular Health Alliance, Director of the Cardiology Department at Zhongshan Hospital affiliated with Fudan University, and President of Rizhao Heart Hospital. It routinely performs various cardiovascular catheter examinations and complex interventional surgeries, particularly excelling in the interventional treatment of acute myocardial infarction and various high-risk complex coronary heart diseases.
Additionally, the department regularly conducts radiofrequency ablation procedures for arrhythmias (including atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, premature ventricular contractions, ventricular tachycardia, and supraventricular tachycardia), as well as the implantation of various pacemakers and left atrial appendage occlusions, with techniques that are at the leading level in the country.
