The Intensive Care Medicine Center consists entirely of laminar flow purification wards. Each private room is equipped with an ECG monitor connected to a central monitoring system, allowing for round-the-clock monitoring of patients' vital signs without blind spots. The ICU features two monitoring areas: an adult monitoring area and a neonatal monitoring area. The adult area includes a dedicated heart transplant ward designed as a class 100 laminar flow room, while the neonatal area provides post-operative critical care for premature and low-birth-weight infants.
The center has a well-structured staffing arrangement, equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment capable of performing advanced procedures. In addition to specialized cardiac monitoring, the ICU offers post-operative care for various complex conditions. Currently, it is capable of conducting Swan-Ganz right heart catheterization, PICCO hemodynamic monitoring, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), left ventricular assist device (Impella) procedures, and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) treatment, among other high-level life support and monitoring techniques.
