Rizhao Hospital Affiliated to Qingdao University/Rizhao International Heart Hospital is located in the beautiful coastal city of Rizhao, Shandong. It was officially opened in October 2018 and is the first non-profit hospital in Shandong built to both JCI international standards and the domestic tertiary A-level standards, primarily focusing on cardiology. The hospital offers cross-provincial medical settlement services and electronic medical insurance voucher settlements. It serves as the 12th Clinical Medical College of Qingdao University and a medical technology collaboration center with Zhongshan Hospital affiliated with Fudan University, integrating clinical care, teaching, and research into a comprehensive medical service institution.

The Digestive Endoscopy Center, in collaboration with Professor Xumei Dong from Shanghai's Eastern Hospital, has established the "Professor Xumei Dong Studio." The hospital sincerely provides one-stop cardiovascular services covering prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation.
Since October 7, 2018, when the hospital first performed reverse wire technique for treating occlusive lesions, it has continuously innovated and pursued breakthroughs in medical technologies. The hospital has successfully carried out complex multidisciplinary surgeries, including the province's first independently performed transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI), a one-stop procedure for CCM+ICD (cardiac contractility modulation + implantable cardioverter defibrillator), and LOT-CRTD (left bundle branch pacing for cardiac resynchronization therapy + implantable cardioverter defibrillator implantation), all of which represent leading domestic achievements.
