Dr. Li Yantao is an expert in the treatment, prevention, and research of oral diseases, particularly in the orthodontic treatment of malocclusion in children, adolescents, and adults. He has introduced advanced domestic and international techniques, such as implant-supported anchorage, self-ligating brackets, and invisible braces, into clinical practice, achieving outstanding treatment outcomes.

In 2009, Dr. Li was recognized as one of the "Top Ten Outstanding Young People of Rizhao City." In 2017, he was awarded the title of "Outstanding Mid-Career Expert with Significant Contributions to Rizhao." He has led and completed five municipal research projects and has received two second-place and two third-place awards for municipal-level scientific research achievements. Dr. Li has published over 20 academic papers in both Chinese and English and has contributed to two professional textbooks.
