The Operating Room Head Nurse has extensive experience working in the cardiovascular surgery department of a renowned tertiary hospital in China, with years of clinical and management experience in the operating room. She has assisted in more than 3,000 cardiovascular surgeries, including heart transplants, aortic dissections, complex congenital heart disease, coronary artery disease, valvular disease, and cardiac interventional procedures. She is especially skilled in assisting with complex congenital heart disease surgeries, minimally invasive cardiac surgeries through small incisions, and thoracoscopic cardiac surgeries, as well as perioperative nursing care.
As a rising star in the hospital, she has participated in the clinical application of several new technologies, such as transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) and ultrasound-guided radiofrequency ablation for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. She has also been involved in the clinical research and development of artificial hearts, bioprosthetic valves, transcatheter valves, and pulmonary valve conduits with valves.
Through years of study, research, and practice, she has accumulated a wealth of clinical experience in operating room management, perioperative nursing care, and assisting in various types of cardiac surgeries.
