Li Hongling is the Director of the Ultrasound Department and has been recognized as an“Outstanding Medical Worker”multiple times by the hospital. In 2013, she was awarded a third-class merit for her exceptional clinical work and outstanding contributions to medical education.
Previously, she worked at a renowned top-tier hospital in China, where she was responsible for teaching cardiac ultrasound courses and guiding clinical and technical training for new and visiting doctors in the department. She has mentored numerous master's and doctoral students in ultrasound, and served as a lecturer for undergraduate programs at prestigious hospitals. She has been invited to participate in national ultrasound conferences as a speaker on several occasions. Li has also collaborated with the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) on screening projects and is a national expert in remote consultation for echocardiography. She has worked with cardiovascular surgeons on countless complex and challenging cardiac cases and participated in a CCTV educational program on 3D printing for cardiovascular surgery.
With over 20 years of experience in quality control and consultation for complex cardiac ultrasound cases, Li conducts nearly 10,000 cardiac exams annually and consults on over 4,000 cardiovascular surgery cases each year. She has extensive expertise in diagnosing complex and challenging heart conditions, especially in infants and young children, where she has made significant contributions to research and diagnosis.
To date, Li has published 54 papers, led 11 research projects, introduced and overseen six new clinical technologies and procedures, and co-authored three professional books.
